E72 Elderly Recruitment System and Apps

Project Brief

  • In response to the challenges posed by the aging population in Hong Kong to the workforce,  to advocate a flexible retirement system and an active old age concept for the government, employers, partners and middle-aged and elderly people.
  • i2 was appointed to revamp the existing e72.hk 「傲齡動力」platform from UX to system design to make it become one-stop human resources matching network platform, to promote the use of middle-aged and elderly people and their professional knowledge, skills and experience inheritance to employers, to provide a stable workforce for the workplace.

Problem Statement

The existing platform only have the web version and it is hard for some of our target users to use it without a desktop computer so we decide to develop mobile apps.

 

The challenge of the task is

  1. Our primary target users is over 55 years old, most of them are not familiar with I.T..
  2. To make the recruitment flow easier and to ensure functions are suitable for targeted users.
  3. To differentiate from other popular recruitment platforms in Hong Kong.

After the project launch, we found that the number of members is increased. The revamp portal has attracted more employers to post their company vacancy.

Besides, we also attract elderly to be a tutor of online/offline classes which could to let their hobbies to become a part-time jobs or other incomes.
